How do you fix the t-mobile MDA to continue to play music even after the screen turns to standby?

I play music on windows media player on my T-mobile MDA and after a minute or so, the screen turns into standby and the music stops. I often have to turn on the screen and press PLAY everytime. Is there an easy fix for this? Im planning to get S9 bluetooth headphones soon but i wanted to see if i could fix this problem.
